Rare as only built between 1963 and 1965. Primarily for the US market, this was the first british bike that had an electric start fitted. This is a UK model and one of the first off the line - it does not have indicators like the US spec. The electra shares many parts with its big brother the dominator, and has roadholder forks and dommie wheels. This is a serious collectors bike and would complete any norton owners collection. |

Here is a very nice example of the rarest of the 60's norton lightweight twins, the electric start electra 400es. this particular example was first registered in berkshire in march 1964. |
