Recently launched to UK and European journalists in the busy, traffic-laden streets of Rome, the V7 Café was an instant hit with these very experienced riders. They loved the café racer style, reminiscent of Guzzi sports bikes from 30 years ago, with its racy sports seat (there’s a dual seat option) clip-on handlebars and twin upswept exhausts.
Sharp steering, neutral handling and balance, to match its easy, comfortable ride, means this bike is perfect for both new and experienced riders, with its natural riding position ensuring long distance comfort.
Experienced riders will appreciate the ease with which the V7 handles itself in heavy traffic and then gets on with it, once the open road is reached, to produce a relaxing and satisfying ride.
New riders, limited to 33bhp, will be pleased to know that all 750cc Moto Guzzi models may be modified very easily and free of charge, by official Moto Guzzi dealers. They may be just as easily de-restricted, once the power limit no longer applies.
Retro style in this case, doesn’t mean old-fashioned, with the V7 Café sporting ultra modern features such as the latest switch-gear and ‘glow in the dark’ instruments. Euro 3 compliant fuel injection gives smooth power delivery with fuel economy of 70mpg easily attainable. The Guzzi’s style, finish and attention to detail perfectly match the flexible and characteristic 750cc V-twin engine.
The V7 Café, as with all Moto Guzzi models, is currently available on low rate finance – 2.9% over 2-years, with 20% deposit (offer subject to status). Two years unlimited mileage warranty, including roadside assistance throughout Europe, comes as standard.
Retailing at £6,249 (excluding government road tax and first registration fee) the V7 Café has bags of character and owners will appreciate that it’s as good to look at, standing still in the garage, as it is to ride on the open road.
