The Triumph Daytona 1200 that we featured a few weeks back is off to pastures new. The 24 year old chunk of Hinckley Triumph arrived with us last month, despite it’s age it was in pretty decent shape, exactly how we like them. It caused quite a stir in our lock up and thanks to some online adverts its new owner came forward. We had a good chat and I was surprised to learn that this will be his first Triumph! Next year this bike will be 25 years old, the new keeper plans to give it a sympathetic restoration and then put some miles on those massive bores. We’ll be following the progress and updating you via the classic-motorcycle.net site.
