We’ve seen a taste of what’s going under the Bonhams hammer at their Spring Stafford Sale, and we like what we’ve seen.
There’s a wide selection of classics from across the years, the ones that caught the Classic Motorbikes Net eye are these.
Is there anything more 70s than a lilac coloured multi cylindered two stroke?
There’s a 1972 Suzuki GT750J that’s carrying a guide price of between £8,000 to £12,000.
If you are a fan of six cylinder classics, then there’s a Honda CBX1000 and a Kawasaki Z1300 that will be up for grabs.
The CBX1000 carries bigger expectations, it’s guide price points to somewhere £10,000 and £14,000 being achievable.
The 1982 Z1300 might be living in the shadows of the Honda six, but with a guide price of £5,000 to £8,000 it might be a cheaper way to join the six pack club.
Suzuki never built a six cylinder road bike, but they did created the Katana.
A late 1983 version is one of the rarer Katana models, it looks dead smart with its black engine and maroon stripes. It will easily bust the £5,000 to £8,000 guide price.
Pick of the bunch for us is the 1979 Suzuki GS1000S. The blue and white sit up and beg seventies super bike carries an estimate of between £4,500 and £6,500.
The sale takes place on Sunday 22nd April. Check the Bonhams website for full details.
