The world’s strongest denim label, Saint has partnered with leading Australian retailer RSEA Safety to launch its new, exceptionally strong workwear range, Saint Works which hits stores on Monday 29 January.
After disrupting the motorcycle industry and innovating the first single layer CE rated safety denim, Sainthave turned their attention to the toughness demands of workwear. By integrating the world’s strongest fibre, Dyneema’s UHMWPE, the Saint Works collection has been designed using purpose-built Saintdenim that is 500% tougher than standard 12oz denim while adding stretch for easy movement and comfort.
The result is a patent-pending workwear fabric that looks and ages like your favourite denim piece. “We wanted to utilise the ballistic strength from our space age yarns, but create a garment that looks fashionable and feels great to work in”, says co-founder and lead creative Mike Lelliott. Completing the entire wardrobe, the collection also includes jeans, cargo pants, jackets and shirts, as well as pre-shrunk cotton tees, hoodies, caps, beanies and socks.
The lack of design-driven yet superior workwear in the market drove Lelliott to design the range to be all day wearable, durable and protective at work while stylishly comfortable at the same time. “We enjoyed talking to real people from hard working trades and listening to their requests for style, comfort and durability. We feel the inaugural Saint Works collection appealed to their needs and has a great blend of form and function.”

RSEA Safety Founder and CEO Brandon Chizik has been in the industry for 16 years and sells many of the top performing and most popular workwear labels across his 40 stores. ”We were quite taken with the concept Saint presented us for a tough and durable, yet fashion-forward line of denim work apparel. We noticed what they were doing with innovative products in the motorcycle market and worked with them to create a tough product at the right price for workwear. For a first up collection it’s quite exceptional, and we moved quickly to secure exclusive terms for RSEA Safety.”
Since announcing the launch, the team have received strong interest in apparel for the warmer months, and are already putting together the Spring/Summer 2018 collection.
