The Cadwell Park 2014 race calendar has been completed, with over 30 race events almost every weekend from March until November! Tickets are now on sale for every meeting, starting at just £10, with free entry for children aged 12 and under.
The MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship will pay its annual Summer Bank Holiday visit on 23-25 August, as Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne aims to avenge his 2013 title defeat. Once again he’ll face opposition from fellow triple champion Ryuichi Kiyonari, plus high-flying Aussie Josh Brookes and the returning former MotoGP star John Hopkins, who nearly took the championship three years ago.
A major highlight of the year will be the circuit’s 80th anniversary celebrations on 3 August, where a cavalcade of famous bikes and riders will head to Lincolnshire for a glorious celebration of the last eight decades. A full race programme, parades, displays and much more will ensure a memorable event.
There will be plenty of four wheeled thrills at Modified Live, which visits one week later on 9 August for a colourful day of high octane fun.
Ending a busy August, the MSA Superkart British Grand Prix returns to Cadwell Park on 30/31. One of only three motorsport events in the UK to carry the Grand Prix title, there will be plenty of close dicing to look forward to as the competitors race for the ultimate prize in British karting!
Historic racing fans can pencil in the Vintage Sports Car Club event on 7 June and the Wolds Trophy on 21-22 June. In addition, both Classic and Vintage Motorcycle meetings will take place at the Lincolnshire track on 6/7 and 27/28 September respectively.
The season is bookended by two rally events. The Alan Healy Memorial Rally returns on 6 April with plenty of stage action using sections of track, paddock and access roads. The North Humberside Stage Rally on 16 November is the last event of the year and should take full advantage of the autumn conditions.
