Classic Bike Trackdays Cadwell weekender

The Classic Bike Track Day team arrived at Cadwell Park last weekend for another one of their superb motorcycling weekenders. There was no shortage of pre 1996 machines on and off track to be ogled and appreciated.

Robert Scott from CBT filled us in on how it went off

“It was a busy weekend for us all but what a great weekend! Track etiquette was exemplary  with only 4 red flags all weekend, two of those were down to broken down bikes, thankfully a few were nothing more than excited riders forgetting to turn their fuel taps on. Without the constant support we receive none of our events would be possible.

We would like to thank,

The marshals, kitchen staff, Simon, Andre and Paul at Cadwell Park who are just blooming awesome, friendly, efficient and professional all are a credit to MSV.

Griff Wooley and Taz from Aprilia Performance and the following instructors Ian Cobb,Paul Berryman, Simon Hindley and Geoff Baldock.

All were kept busy over the weekend with Simon clocking up 400 plus miles alone!

Our customers are equally impressive and I would like to say a special thanks to the riders from Shetland; Steven Mouat, Martin Sandison, Matthew Robertson, who not only had a 14 hour ferry trip to the mainland they then rode (yep rode) 450 miles from Aberdeen carrying all their camping gear in rucksacks  on a Ducati 851, Kawasaki KR1 and FZ hybrid did two days on track and then rode home.

The next CBT event is at Castle Combe on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st July.
