Bike nights are on the up, and to prove this we’ve only gone and created our own one.
The first Classic Motorbikes Net Bike Night will take place on Thursday 10th May at the Tallington Farm Shop.
An unlikely venue for a bike night you might be thinking? Not at all says us.
I’ve been to stacks of bike nights over the last 32 years, the basic ingredients for a successful one include good food, good tea-coffee and lastly a great venue.
We’ve managed to give each of these boxes a big fat tick.
Our location, location, location is the Tallington Farm Shop, it’s one of those places that not even the locals really know is there, on this I speak from experience, having ridden past it a countless times on my mooches from the urban sprawl of Peterborough on rides to the posher postcodes of Stamford, Bourne and the Deepings.
Onsite there’s a rather large hardstanding parking area, plenty of alfresco tables and chairs, and also a seated café area. The food is all freshly cooked to order, and Karen who is the head cook even makes her own chips! None of those tasteless frozen are served from her fryer.
The Tallington Farm Shop is situated on the A1175 that runs from Stamford to Market Deeping.
The countryside spot that it locates is surrounded by some of the best motorcycling roads in the area, so not only will you receive a warm welcome from us upon arrival, you can actually enjoy your ride there!
The countdown is now on until Thursday 10th May, then it’s every Thursday thereafter.
Unlike other bike nights we are starting at 5pm, so those of you who work in the area can pop in for a cuppa and a cheeky chip butty before going home for your tea, or is that just me that does things like that?
The postcode is PE9 4RJ and Tallington Farm Shop is located next to the Jet petrol station which is slap bang by the Tallington level crossing.
