14th edition of the Bikers’Classics

Don’t hesitate any longer to register for the free riding sessions

14th edition of the Bikers’ClassicsThe first weekend of July promises to be once again spectacular on the track of Spa-Francorchamps. The 14th edition of the Bikers’Classics guarantees unforgettable moments on and around the most beautiful track in the world. The organisers have not yet revealed the entire programme of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of July, but the interest in the event already promises an unforgettable edition, especially as a few nice surprises will be revealed at the press conference.

The registrations for the free riding sessions are not waiting for this press conference however. The Bikers’Classics are not just about watching and listening to classic bikes, it is also the ideal opportunity to ride on this famous track with your own classic bike, provided that it meets the requirements. We remind you of the requirements motorcycles should meet in order to be allowed to participate at the free riding sessions:

The category Classic Moto contains all 2-stroke or 4-stroke road bikes or race bikes with a minimum of 250 cm3, built between 31/12/1949 and 31/12/1982, as well as the Post-Classic 2-stroke race bikes such as the Yamaha TZ or Suzuki RG, built between 31/12/1972 and 31/12/1982.

In the category Superbike only machines featured on the official list are allowed (list available on the website). These are mainly bikes that participated in Superbike in the AMA category, in World Superbike and in some national championships for production motorcycles. Of course, open exhausts and slicks will be allowed for everyone.

Café-Racers based on modern machines are not allowed on track but are more than welcome to participate in the Lifestyle Village, an area completely dedicated to these bikes.

As to track time, there will be 8 runs of 20 minutes per category. These will be divided over the three days of the event, i.e. 3 on Friday, 3 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. And of course there is also the traditional parade on the old track on Saturday at the end of the day.

We remind you that the layout of the paddocks has been completely reviewed in order to offer maximum comfort and conviviality to all participants. Attention, paddock places are attributed in order of request… So don’t hesitate too long to book your place. The same goes for the free riding sessions.
