Time is money, I hate wasting either. This BMW F650GS was actually a really clean bike, sadly  though it needed a new head gasket. The shop that sold us the bike pointed out that they gave up on the job once they realised the swinging arm bolt was seized in solid. That is a pain because it runs directly through the rear of the engine.

After taking off all the other parts, an executive decision was taken not to spunk anytime on trying to free the seized bolt.

Pretty much. Having recently only achieved £130 for a decent F650 motor after two months of trying to sell it, there was no appetite to retail a fucked one!

The 2009 bike had a K reg cherished number plate that might have been worth putting onto a retention certificate, but I couldn’t be arsed.

A week after listing the frame and poorly engine together I had a biter and the F650 heap was sold! BMW 650GS Engine and Frame
