Flogged It Friday! Used Motorcycle Chain.
“It is getting tough out there.”
You know money is too tight to mention when people start asking for used chains. It is really bad when they also want used brake pads, although, we aren’t quite there just yet!
“They usually get weighed in.”
Used chains usually end up in the scrap metal heap, but lately, useable ones are now lovingly removed and sold on! It might take a little longer to liberate them then using the angle grinder, but it all adds up.
“How much?”
This was a quality Japanese made chain that came from a loved Suzuki Bandit 1200. It made £20, more than weighing it in!
