Yamaha went blue spot crazy in the late 90s. They appeared on the Thundercat and Thunderace models, before adorning bikes like the R1 and R6. They also ended up on the XJR1300.
“Do they fit older bikes?”
Basically, any Yamaha that used four pot calipers from the early 90s will accept these blue spot calipers. These include machines like the TDM850, TRX850, FJ1200 and the FZR600R. The calipers fitted to these bikes originally were not the best, hence people wanting to fit the superior blue spots.
“What are they worth?”
A pair in really good condition can pull a £100. These are harder to find. More common are average sets like these that made £50.
