Flogged it Friday! Yamaha TZR125 fairing panels new.
“Aren’t those Yamaha TZR125s getting collectable now?”
Yes, and rightly so. The TZR125 was a great looking bike. It took lots of input from larger capacity bikes in the Yamaha range and then they wrapped it all up in a fake Deltabox steel frame, unlike the alloy frames on the bigger cc bikes in the Yamaha brochure.
The interest in TZR125 models is still very active 30 years on.
“They look like new!”
That’s because they are. A recent dealer clear-out unearthed several sets of TZR125 fairing sets that were new and unused. In total there were three full fairings.
I did consider selling each full fairing complete, but a buyer appeared for the three top cowlings within minutes of emptying the haul from the van. This left me with three pairs of lowers. I decided to start by offering them for sale in pairs, and this was a good call. I am down to my last set within 7 days.
“How much are they mate?”
£100 is the going rate. There’s one set left!
