Fun For The Whole Family At The Newark Bike Bonanza

NEWARK BIKE BONANZA Stunt riders, wheelie machines, an inflatable mini-quad bike track and live music… a superb new event is promising fun for all ages and a great day out.

Making its debut at Newark Showground this year, The Newark Bike Bonanza will be a fun-filled family weekend with a variety of entertaining displays aimed at attracting visitors of all ages.

In an exciting new initiative, the organisers have announced the introduction of a Family Ticket for the June 22-23 show. The one day ticket, at a fantastic price of £18, constitutes a 30% saving on regular ticket prices and is currently available for pre-booking at

Road racing stars John McGuinness and Conor Cummins will be among the premier draws at the show and with the two men gearing up to do battle in the Classic TT on the Isle of Man this August, ‘The Morecambe Missile’ and Manxman will be sharing their thoughts ahead of the iconic race.

Alex Lowes, Ryuichi Kiyonari and Ben Wilson will also be in attendance, with the British Superbike stars chatting with fans and giving an insight into what motivates them in one of the most exciting and competitive sports around. ‘Kiyo’ has always been a popular figure in Britain, while Lowes and Wilson are sure to be hits with the local crowd; hailing from nearby Lincoln and Boston respectively.

Mortons Media show organiser Nick Mowbray said: “We are very excited that such a great array of talented names will be joining us for our first Carole Nash Newark Bike Bonanza.

“We have a fantastic show lined up for our visitors with a great range of exhibitions and events, trade stands, entertainment and catering which we hope will serve as a perfect advert for how the unique world of biking can appeal to the whole family.”

Thrills will be provided by champion stuntman ‘Mr Showtime’ Steve Colley, who will be performing twice a day, along with Danny Butler and his extreme Mountain Bike Show.

Also in attendance will be Simon Bogg and his Extreme Chainsaw show and Ken Fox’s famous Wall of Death; and after watching the experts you can get involved in the high-octane action on the Repsol Honda Extreme Wheelie Machine.

On top of that, the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance will be on site at the showground for the weekend and both the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership and the Nottinghamshire Fire Service will be on hand to promote road safety.

Factor in a fly-past from iconic Second World War aircraft the Spitfire and Hurricane, plus live music from The Limit and The Newark Bike Bonanza contains all the ingredients required for a memorable weekend.
