Over the last few years we’ve undertaken and completed quite a few online projects on the ClassicMotorbikes.net website.
For our next project (‘Junkyard Dog’) we’ve added an extra twist. Unlike our 4LO RD350LC, Mk1 Suzuki Bandit 1200, early Aprilia RS125 and other projects, this time we haven’t actually got a complete bike to work on, in fact there is no bike at all, a blank canvas!
There is no script, no drawing board, we will scrounge parts as we find them and take each day as it comes. Streetfighter, chopper, bobber, who knows…
We do however have access to the used parts stock at three local motorcycle bike breakers.
Our notion is to use nothing more than hand picked secondhand parts to achieve our goal and within a strict budget of 500 quid!
There will be no new parts whatsoever, and at times we might even try to fabricate parts ourselves!
David Powell from Boston Bike Bits will be doing all the hard work.
We will be bringing you regular updates on our ‘Junkyard Dog’ from our story with no script. Follow the story here and on our Facebook page.
