New to the Knox Studio Collection, the men’s Richmond riding jeans blend high end fashion fit and style, with the latest performance fabrics and an ingenious protection system, for a seamless transition between life on and off the bike. They deliver all you would expect from a favourite pair of jeans, but built for motorcyclists.
On the bike, the 12oz Cordura denim fabric (four times stronger than traditional denim – and Dupont Kevlar lining) offer high abrasion resistance. Slim Knox Lite Plus knee and hip protectors – supplied with the jeans as standard – guard against impact.
The men’s Richmond jeans feature a smart system that holds the knee protectors comfortably in position when riding. A unique feature to the Studio Denim collection, the knee armour is accessed from the outside by a discreet zip, so it can be removed in seconds, without needing to remove the jeans or pull the protectors from the lining. It also means there are no fasteners inside the jeans, which could irritate the legs.
Carefully tailored in the Knox London Design Studio for a flattering fit on the waist, hips and legs, the Richmond and Roseberry are styled to fit, feel and look like high end fashion jeans.
Produced in classic blue or black, with subtle detailing and logos, extra care is taken in the construction of the Kevlar lining to avoid bulky exterior seams.

The Review
Probably one of the best features of the Knox Richmond jeans is the ability to add the knee armor from the outside, easily accessible by zip and saves lots of time fumbling blindly trying to fit them from the inside, which normally ends in the armor being fitted poorly, no such issues here.
We found the fit to be a little snug (say compared to the Bull-it jeans for example, which have a little more room), however by comparison they are quite light, probably due to the cordura fabric (four times stronger and abrasion resistant compared with standard cotton denim), and so feel comfortable when wearing them off the bike.
We tested the jeans in March during chilly Spring conditions, they felt comfortable throughout whilst offering adequate wind protection. Excellent build quality and stitching, fully lined (to the shin) with kevlar to give you maximum protection.
Another winner from Knox, premium product without a premium price tag!
