Make or Break? Suzuki GSX1100EX.
“The unloved GSX1100.”
Of all the GSX1100 models, the EZ/ES model is to some the least desirable. No real idea why when you consider that the twin shock models are all pretty much the same meat and potatoes under the different gravy.
“That must mean they are cheap then?”
Not really! It just makes them more likely to get broken for parts, like this one!
The previous owner had started a rebuild. The frame is freshly powder coated and he even had the alloy swinging arm lacquered after it was polished. The calipers had all been rebuilt and even a new chain was fitted! He parked the project after struggling to find a useable wiring loom for the 40 year old Suzuki.
“What does a motor make?”
I have someone in the trade on the hook for the lump at £400, which is cheap enough for him to earn money on and a good price to make it worthwhile to break the bike.
