Flogged It Friday! Triumph T595 Daytona engine.
“Is that a 600cc?”
No. Triumph confused some people when they called their new super bike a T595 Daytona. Many wrongly assumed the T595 meant it was a 600cc, which of course it wasn’t! It was their first stab at going head to head with the cream of the 90s sports bike crop.
“Was this motor any good?”
Yes! It came out of an up and running bike that was crashed last winter. Having sat in the yard for months it got dismantled last month. The engine was one of the first parts to sell.
