Make Or Break? Yamaha Thundercat 600.
“That’s a late plate.”
This Thundercat is a late registered bike hence the 04 plate. It is also in the rare factory blue colours. The Thundercat is still one of those models that you can pick up at reasonable prices, better still they are a good bike.
“What’s up with it?”
The bike is a bit of a mystery machine. The previous owner chucked a few quid at it recently but then gave up with it.
The money went towards a pair of new tyres, a rear suspension linkage rebuild and a chain and sprocket kit. Prior to this, a new exhaust system and a brand new battery.
The bike hasn’t been used for a while and now doesn’t want to run for more than 30 seconds.
This points to it probably needing a carb clean at minimum, or some plugs and service items.
“What is it worth?”
Probably worth more in parts than selling whole.
