Well spotted! This is the remains of a bike that gave up its heart for another kit car project. Kit car builders are drawn to bike motors for many reasons. These range from the fact that they are compact and light, through to the fact they make decent power and are cheap.
“Who wants a rolling chassis?”
People who maybe have a heavily crashed bike and simply want to bolt the engine in and go. Special builders also like to muck about and fit other bike engines into the wrong frame.
