More star guests and a new website for International Classic event



Cadwell Park International ClassicFurther star guest appearances have been announced for this July’s (25/26) Cadwell Park International Classic meeting, and a dedicated website has been launched for the newest and biggest historic motorcycle race event of the year.

The latest additions cover the sport’s post-war era and many Cadwell Park heroes. Joining the previously-announced 15-time champion Giacomo Agostini will be Grand Prix veterans Stuart Graham, Paul Smart and Rex Butcher, plus British Championship and TT winner and GP rider Roger Burnett.

We’re pleased to confirm former GP, World and British Superbike rider and commentator James Haydon will also be in attendance, and using his skills on the microphone to interview many of the riders during the event, which will now also include British and World Superbike race winner Chris Walker, TT Supersport winner Gary Johnson, three-time British Superbike Champion John Reynolds and Woodhall Spa’s British Supersport Champion and Senior TT winner, Steve Plater.

Further additions for the July event are Roger Marshall, George Beale, Jack Machin, Paul Cott, Ian Bell, John Taylor, Stan Woods and Dave Hailwood. They will join a stellar line-up that already includes Phil Read, John Cooper, Jim Redman, Derek Chatterton, Alex George, Mick Grant.

A dedicated website has been launched for the Cadwell Park International Classic, which is designed to make it easy to keep track of important information about this landmark meeting, including:

• Display and parade bikes
• Air displays
• Live music
• Off-track entertainment

Interested competitors can arrange race entries via the website, and spectators can purchase tickets and plan their stay.

The site also includes links to the Cadwell Park International Classic Facebook page and Twitter feed @cadwellclassic and there’s also a gallery of images from last year’s 80th Anniversary Meeting, which has inspired the July event.
