The Carole Nash Winter Classic show marks the start of the 2018 motorcycle show season, we needed very little encouragement to get ourselves there for 9am this morning.
This isn’t a massive show like Stafford, which means you can get around it within a few hours.
There’s plenty of variety on show, everything from customised scooters to restored icons like the mighty Honda CBX1000.
A jamboree of owners clubs make up the backbone of the show.
We took our time to check out the freshly polished classics and natter to friends both old and new.
The autojumble area always gets our attention, though this time we returned home empty handed, there wasn’t too much to lead us astray.
The strong point of this show is the social side, an opportunity for virtual friends to meet each other in the flesh, we need more of that in this world.
Old bikes, older blokes and a laid back atmosphere, don’t judge a show by its size, award it on its ability to cheer up your weekend.
Top job!
