We love a two stroke here at Classic Motorbikes-net, then again who doesn’t!?
This is probably one of the craziest strokers not only in the UK, but also on the planet!
It was designed and built by its owner. The project started back in the mid 90s, over the next few years bit by bit it came together.
The engine uses six barrels from a Suzuki RG500 Gamma. I know this because I sold them to the chap who built it. He designed his own bespoke crank cases and found an ex Harris GP frame to pop in all in.
The running gear was state of the art for the day. Ohlins dealt with the bouncy bits, fat Marchesini race wheels were fitted with AP racing braking kit. The bodywork is full carbon fibre, this includes the fuel tank too! I last saw the bike in 2010 when I took these photos.
It was designed for the road, the engine retained a kickstart and even that was fabricated from a chunk of billet alloy by the owner. The headlight came from my skip at Romford Breakers and started life on a Yamaha FZR1000 EXUP RU.
The bike was mothballed for many years, but it did give around 150bhp on the dyno, with a dry weight of just over 130 kilos that’s pretty impressive stats!
