Legendary Classic Race Bikes On Show at Former Motorcycle Racer’s Golf Club

Eight classic race bikes will be on show on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July for visitors to a Cancer Research charity event hosted by Grimsby-based John Roe Toyota at Laceby Manor Golf Resort. The venue – owned by former motorcycle racer, Roger Burnett – will play host to the family-owned car dealership’s annual summer event, in support of the Cancer Research Big BBQ Weekend.


Rossi Underlines Yamaha’s 60th anniversary at Festival of Speed

After a stunning race at the TT Assen Circuit yesterday, where Valentino Rossi won his third race this season, the 111th in his career, starting from pole position, today the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP rider made his first ever appearance at the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed, which carried a theme of nostalgia and pride in the growing interest in motorsport, as Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. took the occasion to celebrate its 60th anniversary.


Top Gear Duo Classic Bikes Sold!

British machines proved popular: the 1937 Brough Superior 1,096cc 11-50hp sold for more than three times top estimate, a total £147,100; the 1930 Brough Superior OHV 680 Black Alpine sold for £138,140; and the 1955 Vincent 998cc Black Shadow Series-D sold at £72,060.
