There’s something charming about finding a motorcycle that’s been unused for a few years. Many bikes get parked up and forgotten about, you don’t have to look too far to find one. This Triumph 955i was born in 2001, it would have set you back £8,739, which was £265 cheaper than the Honda Fireblade.
In 17 years it’s only had three owners, the last one parked it up in 2006 with 35,577 miles on the white faced speedo.
He’d opted to ditch the full fairing of the Daytona and fit the Speed Triple bug eyes, all professionally done at a Triumph main agent.
The out of date tax disc gives the game away, it’s been 12 years since this bike was on the road.
It’s in pretty good order, and well worth bringing back to life, it’s definitely not a ‘Mission Impossible’.
